My idea of a perfect day!

Written by: Sana ul Haq

I consider myself an extrovert and I love to hang out with friends, party, explore new places and keep myself busy all day long. My day usually starts early in the morning and comes to a close around 8:00 p.m. Even though I like to party, I also like to go to sleep early as I'm an early riser.

A slow day is a bad day for me. Staying in and being unproductive affects my mood really badly. I tend to eat less and sleep more on such days. I usually try to find some fun activity to try to keep myself busy or I prefer taking my family out for dinner or visit a friend. One thing I've noticed is that physical activity keeps me fresh and healthy. However, I eat out a lot and so I have to make sure I don't gain weight and is only possible through an active routine. Hence, my tips for the perfect day are:

Early Riser

I like to wake up early and go out to get some fresh air. I offer my prayers and then have a rich breakfast consisting of parathas and milk tea.

Punctuality

I am involved in couple of businesses and projects and so I like to be punctual and reach on time. I have a construction site and I prefer being there as early as possible so I can be there before the labour arrives. I like to ensure everything is ready and available before they arrive. Moreover, I also enjoy having breakfast with them on days I need to leave home earlier than usual in the morning.

Long Drives

I love going on long drives either by myself or with a group of good friends. Moreover, I've also covered many cities of Pakistan by road. Nothing comes close to driving on the Islamabad Lahore motorway on a rainy day. Additionally, stopping by small restaurants on the way adds to the trip.

Praying Regularly

I like to make sure that I offer all my prayers on time as that is the only way I feel satisfied and at peace at the end of the day. Allah's remembrance surely never disappoints.

Mother's Prayers

My mother's prayers are constantly with me throughout the day. I feel safe and protected knowing that her prayers are shielding me from harm.

Spending Time with Dad

As my dad has freshly retired, he is now usually at home. This gives us the chance to spend a lot of quality time together indoors and outdoors. I, especially, love driving around with him.

Conclusion

Generally, I'm a really fun and extroverted person but what I love most is some downtime with family, friends and the people I love most. All this, coupled with Allah's remembrance makes my day perfect.
